King of the Road is one of my favourite shows ever. Since a kid I’ve always loved skate films and since a teenager I’ve enjoyed reality TV. This show is the perfect mix of the two and feels like the perfect format for a skateboarding show.

If you don’t know, Thrasher’s King of the Road is a yearly competition in which three professional skate teams go head to head over two weeks. They are given a book full of challenges to complete at legendary skate spots across the US. They are awarded points for completing each challenge and the winning team is crowned King of the Road.

I ate this show up when it first came out and loved every episode, I think even if you are marginally interested in skateboarding you’ll enjoy this.
